The need for knowledge and immediate access to information is growing at exponential rates. Healthcare and human service professionals are finding that it is no longer adequate to have a few phone numbers for community service providers posted near a computer monitor or in your car as their referral rolodex. Having access to resources in the palm of your hand, on-site, and in an easy-to-use format is fast becoming the norm for effective and efficient customer service.
MinnesotaHelp.info provides easy and immediate access to information on community help for people of all ages and abilities throughout the state of Minnesota. To assist you in managing access to resources for people who need assistance, the State of Minnesota has invested in the creation of the most comprehensive database of community services on the web and now in a downloadable PDA format. Available for helping professionals from all sectors, MinnesotaHelp.info can help you find public and private services and programs. It will allow you to make a quick referral or build a plan of services for your clients.
MinnesotaHelp.info is indexed into 10 major categories, such as senior services, services for people with disabilities, programs for children and families, and services for the homeless. Hundreds of subcategories exist, allowing the user to find specific cities or counties, types of services and eligibility requirements. The database currently includes over 12,000 agencies that provide over 45,000 services across the state of Minnesota.
The MinnesotaHelp.info database is being constantly updated with new providers and changes to existing resources. Organizations wishing to be included in the database can submit information via the www.MinnesotaHelp.info on the internet.
