About Infingo
Mission
Infingo, LLC was formed in 2002 with a mission to enable mobile professionals to use personal digital assistants effectively and efficiently by providing innovative software and services. Our work has focused upon the needs of the > 1 million health professionals who carry handheld computers.
History
The origins of Infingo were at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Research into use of handhelds in medical practice revealed a need for a cost-effective strategy to disseminate information that doctors need at the bedside. Although several proprietary software solutions had become available, none were found practical for spreading information that was specific to a specialty or a single region.
